What Gives EVA Its Distinct Feel?

When you look at the designs of the EVA units themselves, you can really tell they were thought out with a lot of care. The way their shapes flow is very smooth, and their colors usually stay quite consistent, giving them a very unified appearance. They, you know, took human forms as a starting point but then made them better, using lots of flowing lines in their structure. Their shapes are very sleek and their colors are often quite uniform, making them feel like a single, complete entity. They really did, in a way, take inspiration from human forms and then made them better with lots of curvy, graceful parts.

How Do EVA Units Actually Work?

The armor on the EVA units, which you often see, actually serves as a kind of device to hold back their immense strength. This is why, you know, you often see that a single EVA unit might not be enough to take on an Angel; it usually takes several units working together to get the job done. This idea of restraint is, you know, pretty central to how their abilities are presented in the story.
